 Tradewind Estate Homes, formerly DePaola Brothers Construction, was founded by brothers Walter and Joseph DePaola in Fall River, Massachusetts. Walter’s son Tom, who has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, and his wife Debi brought Tradewind Estate Homes to Southwest Florida and in 1982.
In January of 2009, Paul Beattie, a longtime family friend who is a certified general contractor, approached the DePaola’s about possibly taking over the day to day operations. They agreed, and now Paul has begun a new chapter in the history of Tradewind Estate Homes, with Tom and Debi remaining as partners for the next five years.
Paul has an extensive background in the construction industry. Over the last five years, he was the operations manager for a custom home builder and has built homes ranging from 1,500 square feet to over 11,000 square feet and also completed a few commercial projects. Paul is a great addition to Tradewind Estate Homes and he is looking forward to taking the company to the next level while continuing a tradition of quality construction and satisfied customers.
